We are pleased to announce that from May 26 to May 30, 2025, the University of Zielona Góra will host the international conference titled Dynamics of Interactions in Various Complex Systems, organized as part of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP).
This is the second edition of this interdisciplinary event, which brings together perspectives from sociology, biology, and physics to create a space for analysis and discussion of complexity and the dynamics of interactions in various systems – from social to biological and physical ones. Through joint activities, participants will seek order and harmony in collective behaviors observed in different complex systems.
Our partners include European universities: “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia (Romania), Klaipeda University (Lithuania), and University of Prešov (Slovakia) – students from each of these institutions will come to Zielona Góra to take part in the event.
The conference program is rich and diverse – it includes lectures, workshops, communication and relationship trainings, experimental demonstrations, laboratory activities, and field classes combined with lectures (e.g. in the Odra Park and in Zatonie). The BIP conference also has a virtual component, which will take place on May 19–20, 2025. It will include lectures and e-learning sessions. A special highlight of the program will be the debate titled: Democracy and democratic elections in the era of disinformation on social networks, led by Dr. Claudiu Stefani (University of Alba Iulia) in the Column Hall of the Marshal’s Office in Zielona Góra. In addition to BIP program guests, members of the Youth Regional Parliament of the Lubusz Voivodeship will also take part in the debate.
This year’s edition of BIP will bring together students and staff from partner universities: University of Prešov, University of Alba Iulia, Klaipeda University, University of Milan, Abdullah Gül University in Kayseri, as well as students from the University of Zielona Góra and Erasmus+ participants studying in Zielona Góra this semester. The main organizers of the event are: the Institute of Sociology, the Institute of Biological Sciences, and the Institute of Physics, in cooperation with the Institute of Psychology, the Institute of Sport, Tourism and Nutrition, and the Institute of Astronomy.
We warmly invite you to participate – a week full of scientific inspiration, intercultural encounters, and creative collaboration awaits!
