The Faculty of Physics and Astronomy invites students to take part in a workshop in R-language, which will held on May 11-12, 2022 and conduct by Dr. Javier Vaquero-Martinez from the Department of Physics, University of Extremadura (Spain).

Abstrakt:
R programming language is a very interesting and easy to use tool for dealing with all types of data.
Particularly, georeferenced data like those from satellites can be handled easily with R to visualize them,
model them, extract values from points of interest, and so on. R is also particularly suited to statistics and applying statistical tests to our data.
